Toeniskoetter Upgrades Functionality for Orchard's Headquarters

When Orchard Supply Hardware needed to revamp its Store Support Center, it tapped the talent of Toeniskoetter Construction to coordinate the work of rehabilitating a fully occupied office building.

The Store Support Center serves as Orchard's corporate headquarters, and houses all marketing, construction, executive and store planning functions in 70,000 square feet at 6450 Via Del Oro in San Jose. The improvements resulted in a new conference room large enough for the entire staff, a large open area transformed to look like an actual Orchard store for testing new products, and upgraded aesthetics throughout the facility. The architect for the project was Jim Fulton, Principal, of ARC TEC, San Jose.

TOWA America Finds New Home

As part of their growing investment in the Morgan Hill business community, the Toeniskoetter Companies managed a complex chain of acquisitions, leasing and build-outs late last year when TOWA America, the distribution and sales division of a Japan-based manufacturing and sales company, required a new office for their North American headquarters.

To speed the transition, Toeniskoetter Development bought the property TOWA America occupied at 18255 Sutter Boulevard, quickly converting the space for another Toeniskoetter Development client that needed the property's office and manufacturing space, TenCate Advanced Composites USA, Inc.

TOWA appreciated the convenience and freeway access that Cochrane Business Ranch provided, and asked Toeniskoetter Development to help find the perfect new location.
