Toeniskoetter Completes Innovative Silicon Valley Glass Headquarters
Toeniskoetter is pleased to announce the completion of one of its most innovative buildings yet – the new headquarters and manufacturing facility for Silicon Valley Glass. The latest addition to Madrone Business Park in Morgan Hill began as a speculative project, but quickly evolved into a successful partnership between Toeniskoetter Development and Silicon Valley Glass, providing a long-term lease for Toeniskoetter and an equity stake for Silicon Valley Glass.
Partnering with tenants, equity investors and land owners has been at the core of Toeniskoetter projects since the company’s inception over 38 years ago. The single-story steel building is the first of its kind for Toeniskoetter, garnering a Structures Award from the Silicon Valley Business Journal as a stand-out build-to-suit project in local real estate. The building shell and the interior tenant improvements were built by Toeniskoetter Construction, Inc., and designed by ARC TEC, Inc.
“This type of building offers many advantages,” explains Adam Toeniskoetter, President of Toeniskoetter Construction. “These include exceptional energy efficiency, faster construction time, and reduced cost.”
In addition, the free-span design provides clients nearly unlimited interior design options. “The open-space plan was key because it left us free to develop the manufacturing space as we wished,” says Linda Goyette, who owns Silicon Valley Glass, along with her husband, Jason. “And working with Toeniskoetter was a pleasure. We really appreciated their friendly, positive, can-do attitude.”
"This project provided us an opportunity to expand our capabilities in a number of ways that benefited our client," says Brad Krouskup, CEO of Toeniskoetter Development. "It began with a really innovative building that represents an important step forward in future construction. The result was a creative partnership for Silicon Valley Glass and our investor group."
